About me…
My name is Sean Cuddihy. Since 2014 I have produced and published multimedia for film, radio, television and the Internet. My skills focus on the creation of non-fiction media and the logistical sides of content creation as a whole.
Currently, I work as a media specialist for Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to help distribute information on COVID-19 virtually throughout the state of New Jersey. At the same time, I am volunteering with “Our COVID-19 Stories,” an online project which spotlights the pandemic’s impact on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Formerly, I worked as a Development Intern at Aggregate Films Los Angeles. My responsibilities included coverage, research, and development of current projects. In 2019 I was able to work as a Digital Video Intern for NOVA at WGBH Boston. I worked alongside the creators of “Polar Extremes: Antarctica” to produce a free digital series examining how science is conducted at the bottom of the world.
From April of 2019 until June of 2020 I served as the Business Manager of Emerson Independent Video (EIV), the largest student run production company in the United States. With over 500 student members and 40 programs produced each year, ranging from short films to virtual reality experiences, I oversaw and managed the budget of all of our programming and EIV administration.
My professional goal is to tell the stories of peoples’ extraordinary actions happening in our own communities each and every day. Whether immersing myself in the middle of the action, camera in hand, or working outside of shoots, I empower others with the ability to tell their stories. As a creative artist my goal is to generate content in order to connect people, ideas, and experiences.
